Required Qualifications – For employment consideration you must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), be detail-oriented, have good personal hygiene, a valid driver’s license, possess a genuine willingness to help others, enjoy working as part of a team, be self-motivated, and have a desire to learn.
  • Archer is a company specializing in disaster recovery and repairs. Our goal is to minimize damage to a structure and content after a disaster. Archer also does other specialty services such as carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, and indoor air and environmental cleaning.
  • Disaster recovery in general consists of cleaning up after natural disasters such as heavy rain or wind.  The core part of disaster recovery is helping our local communities when homes, businesses or commercial buildings have fire or water damage from common things like pipe breaks or something as simple as burning a dinner on the stove.
Disasters do not happen at set times so we have to be available 24 hours a day – We have an on-call rotation; part of being on the Archer team is being on-call one week at a time or when needed.  This responsibility is shared with all production staff and is on a rotation.

Archer does not allow smoking in company vans or on customer’s property.

To be successful you must have a strong willingness to help others and learn new things. You must be compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the customer who has just suffered an event and is looking for help and guidance.

Construction skills are a big asset on the repair side – repairs are needed after the cleanup.  In general we are doing drywall, painting, millwork, some floor installation, framing and roofing repair.  Archer works with subcontractors if we do not have the in-house skills.

Carpet and Duct cleaning are services that require special training – Archer will train the correct candidates.

To be a service representative of Archer you will be doing: Water Extraction – Structural Drying – Mold Clean Up – Odor Removal – Content Cleaning – Content Moving – Fire Damage Repair. On a daily basis these are all services that will require specialized training.

ARCHER DOES PERFORM RAMDOM DRUG TESTS AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS. Archer has a 90 day probation period – in general the 90 days period is done through the local temp services.

Archer Cleaning & Restoration specializes in property damage repairs and restoration. The company is looking for Carpenters/ Remodelers. Ideal candidates are skilled carpenters with excellent communication skills who are committed to quality work outcomes and customer satisfaction. 

CARPENTERS & CLEANERS

Qualified individuals will have a high school diploma and 3+ years finished carpentry and/or restoration experience. Work involves restoring structures and content damaged by storm, water or fire. Construction duties include: demolition, framing, drywall, paint, millwork, and finished carpentry.
